Truck Team Member / Driver (Ramsey, NJ) compensation: $15-$17 an hour plus tips, possible bonuses based on performance employment type: full-time We are a local junk removal company. We do residential and commercial clean-outs. Our truck team members are responsible for going to the jobs and safely/conscientiously removing the items from our customers' homes and businesses. This involves carrying the items out of the home and arranging them in the back of the truck to be taken to the dump, donation centers, recycling, etc. Ability to lift and move heavier items is important. We expect our employees to be on time, uniformed, and have reliable transportation to go get to and from work. Good communication is also a must. Truck team members are expected to call the customer with ETA and maintain communication with main office throughout the day. The truck team driver needs to have a clean driving record and be able to comfortably/safely drive an Isuzu NPR. No CDL is needed, but some experience is driving trucks is a plus. An ideal applicant would also be open to helping do basic marketing for the business: putting up doorhangers around the job site, handing out cards, taking before/after photos/videos for social media. Any background in customer service or sales is appreciated, though not required.
