Child Porn Leads To Arrest In Prince George's: Police

BRANDYWINE, MD — Police said they arrested a Prince George's County man Tuesday on charges of possessing child pornography and sexually soliciting a minor. Officers identified the suspect as 34-year-old Derrell L. Hooker Orange of Brandywine. An incident report accused Hooker Orange of having internet and phone conversations with a 12-year-old girl. Police alleged that he was trying to organize a sexual encounter with the minor. The duo also exchanged nude photos of themselves, the write-up added. Officers noted that they executed a search warrant of Hooker Orange's home around 6:05 a.m. Tuesday. Investigators explained that they found "multiple child pornography files" on his electronic devices. The Maryland State Police informed that they immediately charged the suspect with one count of sexual solicitation of a minor and six counts of possession of child pornography.
