Join us on Thursday, April 22, Earth Day, for a special outdoor fundraising mezcal tasting and cocktail class! Celebrate Earth Day with Woodlands Conservancy curbside at Espíritu Mezcaleria & Cocina at 520 Capdeville Street. Beginning sharply at 6pm Master Mezcalier, Jason Mitzen will lead a tasting of 3 Tequilas and 1 Mezcal. Trained and certified in Mexico, Jason will guide you through the intricacies of the special selection of Mezcals and Tequilas. Following the tastings , you will receive instruction in the creation of two cocktails including a special signature spring cocktail, Espiritu of Woodlands. Enjoy your two cocktails and some botanas (snacks) during this special Earth Day event. Price is $50 per person and includes 2 cocktails, and 3 varieties of Tequilas and ` 1Mezcal to taste, as well as some botanas (snacks)! 50% of all proceeds will be donated to Woodlands Conservancy.
