APS is a family owned business currently located in Virginia Beach We specialize in home appliance repairs, smart home installations and are the leading third party repair company for Asurion; the insurance company for Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, and Home Depot. We will be launching a new branch with Asurion and will be covering the state of Virginia. This branch will become active starting April 1st, 2021 and we are looking to build a team of technicians with home appliance repair, and smart home installation experience. Not all experiences are required but the more experience in these fields the better! Desired Skills and Requirements: This candidate must have an active driver license and clean driving record for Asurion. Must be able to pass a back-round and driving record screening Home appliance repair experience(dishwashers, dryers, stoves, etc.) smart home installation experience (security camera, smart doorbells/thermostats, tv mounts, etc.) To have a good understanding of electronics and possess good troubleshooting skills Performs Asurion inventory tasks such as counting and monitoring Asurion parts and inventory levels. Completes all coursework in curriculum path within the required timeframes including device certifications and required skill certifications. This includes initial coursework as well as ongoing monthly training. Complies with all Asurion operational policies and procedures. Demonstrates Asurion Core Values in all interactions. Complies with Asurion security requirements and background checks, including motor vehicle background checks. Should have good oral and written communication skills. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions. A great attitude and work ethic Customer Service experience Fluent in English - Secondary Language a plus. Responsibilities: This individual is responsible for the efficient, accurate, and quality repair of all devices; to include diagnosis, assembly, and appropriate documentation. This candidate needs to be self-motivated and able to perform both independently and within a team environment. This candidate must be able to communicate with direct supervisors and tech line when necessary. This individual possesses the ability to admit mistakes, take advice and pointers from management as well as other co-workers. Functions at high levels of integrity and is ready to be apart of something FUN and BIG Meets or exceeds key performance objectives that include service and repair metrics as well as customer satisfaction goals. Job Types: Full and Part time Pay: Commission based pay per job $19-$25 per repair with a potential of $200 a day or more All travel to repairs will be done in personal car and reimbursement for travel/use of cars will be added with the pay technicians receive per job. Technicians have the option to use personal gas or company gas cards. The reimbursement techs receive will differ on what employees choose to use. CDC guidelines are heavily followed and will be while dealing with customers in home or onsite. All needed sanitation will be provided to ensure proper safety for employee and customers.
