Our Company is one of the fastest growing scaffold companies in the country, and has experienced continued growth since our owner purchased the company in 2009. We attribute our sustained growth to the daily contributions by our remarkable team members. We are currently searching for a full time Safety Manager to work both onsite at our local Military bases and Commercial sites, and in our Chesapeake, Virginia Office. This position will be hourly or salary depending on experience, and includes health insurance and benefits after 90 days. Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule are a must. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Defense/Construction industry and understand the specific safety issues that will arise on construction sites. Duties include but are not limited to: • Conducting Safety Meetings, and compliance training. • Tracking and ordering safety supplies, and distributing to our employees. • Maintaining records of safety training, certifications, reports, injuries, and correspondence. • Visiting job sites to conduct safety checks, and having discrepancies corrected. • Ensuring compliance with our Company Safety Policies and OSHA. • Disciplining employees who fail to comply with Safety standards.
