Miss Hazel is a laid back, easygoing lady. She hasn't had the easiest life and came to us with a severe flea infestation. We quickly were able to remedy that and give her some much needed relief. She seems so relaxed now that she's not scratching all the time. This girl deserves nothing but the best from now on. Our process: If you are interested in Hazel or any of our adorable adoptables, please fill out an adoption application from our website. If we feel it's a good match, we can make plans for a meet & greet at one of our monthly trips to Chesapeake, or you can schedule a visit at the shelter. Visits to the shelter are by appointment only, as we are a volunteer-run rescue organization. All PAWS cats are spayed/neutered and current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. All cats and kittens are tested for FIV/FELV. All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.
