Looking for jam buddies

I'm looking to see if there's anyone else out there who just wants to get together to play some music for fun. While I'm not ruling out a future where we may gig from time to time, that's not really my agenda. I'd just like to play music. I'm a 39yo experienced, but self taught, bassist & guitarist living in the South Wedge part of the city. I've played bass for a few bands back in my 20s, did the whole gigging thing, even recorded an EP once, but it's been far too long since I've just had some friends to jam with. I'm open to primarily playing either guitar or bass, though I do play guitar more than bass these days. I can also play some keys, though I'm less proficient than with stringed instruments. I'm also open to a wide range of musical genres, though I am most definitely not any good at metal. So, somewhere in the range of indie pop, rock, blues rock, etc. Drop me a line if this sounds like fun to you. Also, it would be best for me if we could use your space for jamming. My wife and dog aren't into the same genres as me. They're both much more into orchestral arrangements.
