4-H Monthly Fun Kits for March will include almost everything you need to complete 3 different "Learn by Doing" activities. This month the fun kit will include: fun Easter activities including a recycled art project and other great creative activities. Youth ages 5-18 are welcome to get a kit. If more than one child in a household wants a kit, as long as the youth are 5-18, there is no restrictions on the number of youth in a household receiving a kit but they all must be registered under the young persons name. You must pre-register through Eventbrite to receive a kit. Pre-registration closes on March 19 at 3:00PM. We are only giving 35 kits away and we will have a waiting list if more that 35 sign up. Youth should be a resident of Cherokee County because the kits must be picked up in person. No kits will be mailed. In person pick up will happen on Wednesday, March 24 from 10-6 at the NC Cooperative Extension, Cherokee County Center, at 40 Peachtree Street. We will be closed from 12-1. Please send an email to [email protected] with a pickup time slot between 10-12 and 1-6 on March 24. Due to COVID-19, safety protocals must be adhered to for everyone's safety, including wearing a mask. The pictures below are just a sneak peak at our kit contents for March.
