AquaTechnex is looking for a college graduate or attending college with a degree in Biology/Resource Management/Aquatic sciences etc. to assist our clients in SW Idaho. This position will support our lake management clients and will include duties such as water quality monitoring and diagnosis, aquatic plant and algae management, aeration install and client relationship management. Over time expanded responsibilities will include client development and introduction of new technologies to the marketplace. Interested parties should review our web site and blog to get a better feel for the work we do. www.aquatechnex.com We are looking for seasonal employee for the summer (April to October), (with some hours in winter times if needed). These positions support our field operations here in the Treasure Valley with some travel to Central Idaho, Central Oregon, SW Montana, and all of Utah (Sometimes Northern Idaho and Washington if other offices need assistance. College students with an interest in aquatics and lake management are encouraged to apply. These positions can be held from summer to summer if the applicants enjoys the work and has an interest. We often have full time positions these applicants can move into on graduation. Hours will range from 40 to 50 a week with overtime. We will work around scheduling for college and other life events. Need to be able to be able to physically hop in and out of a boat and trailer, lift up to 50lbs, work in the sun, carry a backpack. Some pluses we are looking for but not required are, 1. Experience with driving with a trailer and backing up. 2. Pesticide licensing with Idaho Dep of Agriculture. 3. Experience working along or with minimal supervision. 4. Experience driving a boat, SXS or other recreational vehicles. We will cover costs of travel, lodging, food etc. on overnight stays out of town.
