The Sign Production/Installer works in the production area doing table work, building signs, and traveling to customer sites for installation. In the shop, this position laminates, cuts, and fabricates signs from a variety of materials. This position involves the use of basic to advanced shop tools and techniques; including hand and power tools, basic electrical knowledge, and some excavating for sign footings. Installation preparation includes preparing materials, supplies, inventory, hardware, tools and equipment. Sign installation includes post and panel signs, rigid or flexible sign faces, monuments and much more. Other duties include:
• Operating panel saws, drills, and table saws
• Climbing ladders, digging holes
• Operating of lamination equipment
• Hand and mechanical trimming
• Mounting prints
• Vinyl application
• Sign installation (some electrical), indoor/outdoor
• And other duties as assigned
