Experienced Carpenter We are looking to hire an experienced carpenter to join our team. We are a local sunroom, general contracting + solar company looking to add a carpenter with experience building from the ground up. Required to understand and be able to follow technical blueprints. To perform in this role you will need sufficient transportation, your own tools and a clean driving record. Carpenter Responsibilities: Prepare and layout of the project Produce take off sheet for materials needed Work with blueprints or instructions from supervisors Work with materials such as wood, aluminum and glass Join materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesive Work on top of scaffold, ladders, and the top beams of homes Check work along the way to ensure it's up to code and specifications Use levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and surveying equipment to ensure everything is level and secure Work with prefabricated buildings: SunRooms Build stairs & framing Install molding Remodel homes Create form structures for pouring concrete. Replace panes of glass Install partitions, doors, and windows (831) 646-5200
