Rental Yard Maintenance. This position is responsible for the handling of construction equipment in the rental department of our Ames location, 2100 E Lincoln Way. Star Equipment Ltd is a 50 year old family operated construction equipment company, We have 4 locations in Iowa - Des Moines, Ames, Cedar Rapids and Waterloo. Duties to include: Washing rental equipment Checking the condition of equipment for safety and operational purposes Maintenance/light mechanical on equipment Check for proper safe guards on equipment We will train the right candidate Job Requires: Ability to operate construction equipment Ability to lift 100 lbs General knowledge of construction equipment Good hand writing Clean driving record and valid drivers license ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Benefits: Competitive Wages, Health, Vision, Dental, Life, LTD Insurance, 401k Plan, Vacation and Sick Leave, 6 paid holidays, uniforms.
