Lakeville Highway Reopens After Major Injury Crash

PETALUMA, CA — Lakeville Highway reopened around 10 a.m. Thursday after a crash near Browns Lane that resulted in major injuries, Petaluma police said. A vehicle fire was also reported in the collision that closed State Highway 116 in both directions between South McDowell Boulevard and Browns Lane. A Sig-alert was issued at 8:17 a.m., and Petaluma police advised drivers to avoid the area. "The traffic collision has caused traffic backups on Lakeville Hwy," police said.
