Austin Staffing is seeking 10 Shipping & Receiving associates, and 1 supervisor for a temp-to-hire assignment in Central Austin, Texas. In this role, it’s up to you to ensure quality shipments, coordinate efficient deliveries and meet our standards of high customer service. Shipping and Receiving associates process all shipments and collaborate with the Operations Team to manage the inbound and outbound traffic of shipments. Shipping/Receiving: - Pulls, packs, and ships orders based on supply orders from Clients - Product packaging for shipment; including inventory control of shipping materials - Double checks and reviews outgoing shipments and printouts to ensure completeness and detects error(s) prior to data entry - Re-stocks shipping materials that are low in inventory - Inspects boxes and packaging material - Attaches shipping labels on boxes - Confirms delivery completion in the business system - Creates shipping documentation, including packing lists and return labels for all outbound shipments - Analyze current procedures and make recommendations for process improvements to the Operations Manager. Experience/Skills - Must be able to lift 50 pounds - Self-starter attitude - Ability to operate a computer, printer, and bar code scanner - Experience in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills - Strong problem-solving skills - Good record keeping skills - Efficient planning and organizing skills - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.) or equivalent - Able to work effectively in a team environment If you are interested, apply here:
