The Denver Pops Orchestra is seeking musicians for the 2021-2022 season! We have openings for section string players and principle oboe. Not a string player? Schedule an audition anyway - we are always happy to add great musicians to our substitute list! DPO is a community-based nonprofit organization that has been serving up great music in metro Denver for 40 years. The 55+ members who volunteer their time and talents represent a variety of ages and vocations. We play familiar music, including light classical, Broadway and movie tunes, dance band, and pops compositions. We perform regularly from September through May, and rehearse on Wednesday evenings in Denver. We will be scheduling auditions for the evening of Wednesday, May 19, 2021.
