EAGAN, MN— Red Pine Elementary School is on its second week of being on the COVID-19 breakout list, the Minnesota Department of Health said.
The school will be removed from the list once it goes 28 days with no new cases, the department said.
In order to be added to the Minnesota Department of Health's list, a school must report at least five cases of a student or staff member being inside the building while infectious and within the two-week reporting period, the department said.
Six other schools in Dakota County-Apple Valley Senior High School, Rosemount Middle School, Rosemount High School, Farmington High School, East Lake Elementary School, and St. Thomas Academy were also on the list, the department said.
Holy Trinity was removed from the list this week.
The list is updated weekly on Thursdays.
