Vaccine Appointment Registration Opens For New Kane County Site

KANE COUNTY, IL — Kane County officials launched a website Thursday for residents to make appointments to get a coronavirus vaccine at the county's new mass site in Batavia. Residents can now sign up at KaneVax.org to receive a coronavirus vaccine at the site, which is slated to open Friday at the former Sam's Club in Batavia. The site will be open 12 hours a day, six days a week, though it will close earlier on days when it administers all available doses. Mass Vaccination Site In Batavia To Give Out First Shots Friday Residents can also call 855-452-6382 (855-4-KANEVAX) or the Illinois Vaccine Appointment Call Center at 833-621-1284 to schedule an appointment at the mass vaccination site. The site in Batavia will be able to hold up to 10,000 people at a time, Kane County Board Chair Corinne Pierog said. All Illinois residents who are eligible under the state's guidelines can receive a vaccine at the Batavia site.
