I'm a videographer/editor looking for musicians and bands to collab with on video projects. I worked in social media and digital video for a while, but couldn't take the soulless repetition and empty content. Now I'm trying to rekindle my passion for video by backtracking to what I really love about the medium: visual storytelling that bumps to great music. If you have a song or album and would like some visual accompaniment, I'd love to hear from you. I'm offering my cinematography and post-production services on the condition that I retain creative control of the production. This is not to say that I want to be a creative dictator, I just don't want musicians coming to me and saying something like "this is my song and this is how I want the video to look." I'm looking for creative collaboration, not creative services. And as far as visuals go, I will have the final say. In exchange for creative independence I will make you a killer music video for only $150, flat. That's $50 for production and $100 for post, which is less than it would cost you to rent video equipment. I'm only charging this amount to cover my basic expenses like gas, food, and wear on my gear. What I'm getting out of this isn't financial, it's the chance to explore a medium that I've been excited about since first getting into video.
