In this hands-on class, students will learn how to use both an airbrush machine and how to stencil with royal icing using cookie stencils. Overview - Each student will have a workstation equipped with an airbrush machine and all the tools you need to complete class designs You will learn: - the basics of airbrushing - the do’s and don’ts, troubleshooting, and cleaning - how to avoid overspray and get clean lines when using an airbrushing with a stencil - how to layer stencils - how to shade with airbrush colors to create dimension - the correct icing consistency for stenciling with royal icing to achieve a perfect result every time - how to use plastic and silkscreen cookie stencils - you will go home with a set of cookies (Home is where my Honey Bee), a class handout packed full of information about airbrushing and stenciling and resources. all stencils used during class (7 stencils) as well as a goodie bag. - you will also learn how to pipe simple flowers using a flower nail *If you have an airbrush machine, bring it with you.  This is what I use - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZNM744Q?ref=exp_laurascustomcookies_dp_vv_mw&th=1&psc=1 *Airbrush colors, stencils and other decorating supplies used during class will be available for purchase after class. *Registration is not complete until the class is paid in full. *Registration fees are non-refundable (unless I have a 7 day notice) and non-transferable. *This class has a minimum of 6 attendees to run - if the minimum is not met by 4/15/21, a full refund will be given.
