In search of Soul/Americana Female Vocalist w/ an instrument

We’re searching for someone that can add some vocals AND that is capable on an instrument (not a complete beginner). I’d prefer those interested in being an integral part of the decision-making process. Willing to offer input, adapt to feedback, take old songs into new territories, be part of a humble process. Happy to work with good vibes folks that have little or no gigging experience. Our goal is to have fun/be dorks, but also to fine tune in practice so we’re not a sloppy mess. We’re currently a drummer & guitarist, forming up and strategizing through some b-side and deep cut covers as well as doing our own songwriting. I’ll spare you the list of 5-15 bands composed of 10 we won’t actually sound anything like. I’m guessing the set list will ebb and flow, and jump across quite a few decades of music. This is a fresh endeavor and all correspondence has been digital, so we’d all be going in with little to no chemistry. We’ll be moving into more personal practice accommodations once we’re vaccinated, and would prefer those in the process as well. We’re both in our mid-30’s, and would prefer an old soul with an open-mind for contemporary cuts. Not many preconceived boundaries of instruments we’re looking for: bass, guitar, keys/organ/synth, sax, violin... interested in hearing what you can bring to the table. Thanks!
