Alaska Works Partnership, Inc. is a local non-profit providing FREE, HANDS-ON training opportunities that are designed to provide participants with an experiential understanding of a career in the construction trades and enhance participants' abilities to gain employment within the construction industry.
Sheetrock & Taping is a 40-hour introductory training which covers materials, handling, storage, layout, cutting, and the application and installation of sheetrock, as well as proper application of joint compound, tape, and corner bead to provide finished appearance of sheetrock.
