NORTHPORT, AL — Interviews concluded Thursday of the top four candidates vying for the open Northport city administrator position. The first interview Thursday was conducted via Zoom with Nathan Patterson, who served as interim assistant director and previously as deputy director for the City of San Diego. Tuscaloosa City Attorney Glenda Webb will round out the interviews at 6:15 p.m. Webb has worked with the city for nearly two decades and served as Tuscaloosa's city attorney since 2013. The Northport City Council will now make a decision on hiring one of the four candidates, but will also retain the option to interview or consider other applicants if the Council elects to do so.
