Join People for Palmer Park on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 10am-2pm as we celebrate Earth Day by cleaning up our beloved park. For lo the winter has passed and Palmer Park is eager to look its best for the wonderful community of people who flock to enjoy the beauty, energy, and nature it so generously offers. Trash pick-up, weeding, sweeping, raking, and clearing are just some of the ways to volunteer your time and energy! We will be organizing volunteers by location throughout the park to promote social distancing and to cover as much of the park as possible. Choose a two-hour shift or stay for the whole time. Additional instruction will be sent the Monday prior to the clean-up with instructions and directions to your location. (Note: Ticket location is a meeting point, not the subject of the clean-up) Invite family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and any other nature lovers in your life!
