Inkscape 101: Leather Bookmark

There's nothing quite like a good bookmark to make opening up a book all the more exciting. Learn the fundamentals of using Inkscape to design and edit images for a bookmark. You'll also be introduced to our in-house laser cutting machines. Participants who wish may share a completed design file to be made into a bookmark from recycled leather* in The Hive. Patrons can arrange to collect their finished bookmarks at Contactless Pickup. Inkscape is a free application that can be downloaded from the internet. Basic computer skills are necessary for this course and it is recommended that you download the software in advance of the event. Computing devices are available for reservation at Contactless Pickup: Takeout Technology. Register below.
