Join the Cherry Creek Stewardship Partners and Master Gardener volunteers for a workshop to understand soil chemistry and watershed health.
Change the soil to suit your plants or...change your plants to suit the soil.
Plants use nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium and other nutrients to manufacture their food. They get these nutrients from soil. Different plants prefer different soil chemistry. What plants are best suited to your soil? Want to learn more about this living ecosystem beneath our feet? Join the Cherry Creek Stewardship Partners and Master Gardener volunteers from Arapahoe County for a workshop to understand soil health and the landscape practices that impact our watersheds. Please bring a small soil sample for testing.
The course is outdoors on an Open Space trail. Please wear appropriate shoes, sun covering or sunscreen and bring water. All class materials will be provided.
For the safety of all participants, all students and trainers will follow Tri-County Health guidelines at all times during the class including, but not limited to, wearing masks and adhering to appropriate social distancing.
