We need a temporary driver for our vending business. (Eastside office) One day per week for 3 weeks (maybe more). Approximately 6 to 7 hours each day. You are the face of the company to the locations that you will service and must project a professional and positive image of the company at all times while maintaining and building excellent client and customer relationships. Qualifications include, but are not limited to: • Must have experience driving a cargo van. Please do not apply if you do not have this experience. • Mechanical ability – to perform diagnostics and minor repairs on vending machines so that customer issues are resolved in a timely manner. Please do not apply if you do not have some mechanical ability. • Applicant must be able to work independently and to be part of a team. • Must be physically and mentally able to safely perform the essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to tyourself, co-workers and location personnel. • Ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, pull, carry, and lift items weighing 40 lbs, as well as push/pull and navigate fully loaded dolly. Physical work is a primary part of job. • Have and maintain a clean driving record. Possess and maintain a valid Texas driver’s license. • Must be able to pass a criminal background test and have driving record verified. • Must be able to read, speak and write in English. Bilingual would be useful but is not essential. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations, i.e. customer complaints, time pressures. • Basic math and reasoning skills. • Honest – High degree of integrity. • Reliable – must report each day to work promptly and have dependable transportation. Working Conditions and Physical Effort Dress is semi-casual. Must be groomed for public contact to represent the company. This is a non-smoking environment. Driver cannot smoke in the vehicle, office or at client locations. Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Loading vehicle Driving - our vehicle, does not require a special license Cleaning machines Stocking product and product rotation Completes location paperwork Inventory management and accountability – including, but not limited to documentation of product used, refunds, losses Cash accountability Friendly customer service Foster relationships with clients Equipment Maintenance – perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed. Troubleshooting – Determining causes of operating errors Repairing machines Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle Other duties as assigned While this is intended to be an accurate reflection of the position posted, the Company reserves the right to modify or change the essential functions of the job.
