Job Description Country Meadows Village is looking for a positive individual who will oversee the maintenance of the assisted living building and report to the Maintenance Director for the campus. Must enjoy working with seniors. All candidates must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record. Job Description: The Maintenance Assistant assists in maintenance, repairs, and general custodial duties, and maintaining an overall aesthetic appearance of the grounds and buildings to meet high company standards and the highest quality retirement living environment. Required to lift up to 50lbs. Assist the Maintenance Director in maintaining the assistant living building and grounds, including minor carpentry, building repairs, painting, plumbing, electrical, litter patrol, watering plants, kitchen, laundry, and all other areas. Assist in the preventive maintenance program, which includes filter changes, light bulbs, vehicle inspections, furniture, furnishings, and facility equipment, resident apartments and cottages, painting, carpet shampooing, appliances, plumbing, baths, locks, and hardware. Receive and complete all work requests, including picture and mirror hanging, shelving, minor repairs and adjustments, light bulb replacement and storage assistance. Assist with apartment carpet cleaning, painting, apartment inspection and repairs. Ensure fire drills and all safety equipment is performed and maintained.
