Bring your hot wheels, your thumpin' bass, your band in a pickup bed. Ride your bike, walk the walk. Do The Cruise. Cruisin' is the safe way to socialize! A parade of Portland bands, DJs, and people looking to take back the boulevard will cruise up and down Upper Hawthorne! Route is from Safeway at 30th down to the Eagles at 50th and back. Ride slow and be safe! Speed Limit is 20 MPH- you should keep way under for bike and pedestrian safety, and you need to do 2 circuits or less per hour to stay within the law. Bring your best cruisin vehicle, turn the tunes up, and show off your cruisin skills. Watch the movie "American Graffiti" to see how it's done. Portland 2021, taking back the streets!
