Congressman Thomas Massie of Kentucky attempted to remedy this problem by introducing a Bill called The Senior Citizens Tax Elimination act HR 3917 of 2019.on July 25 2019. That same day the Bill was sent to the House Ways and Means Committee. Where it still has not been acted on After Almost 3 Years.
