We currently have an opening for an Entry Level Automotive Technician at our new state of the art air-conditioned service facility. Position is good starter position for someone entering the automotive service field. This position will be responsible for oil changes, tire rotation and other light maintenance work. *** SIGN ON BONUS FOR THIS POSITION *** Job Description: Performs works as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards. Changes oil and oil filter and top off all vital fluids. Installs batteries and checks electrical systems. Installs and performs tire maintenance and repair. Performs inspections on various belts and filters, and checks air levels using gauges. Self-motivated enthusiastic presence in a team environment. Ensures the customer’s needs are understood. Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor. Ensures that customers’ cars are kept clean. Notifies service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle. Keep shop area neat and clean Other duties as assigned Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Must be a team player and able to maintain a positive working attitude and environment Ability to managing one’s own time Ability to be customer focused and obsessed with providing great customer service Knowledge of the English language, spelling, grammar, punctuation and numbering systems Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to write simple correspondence Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one to customers, clients, and other employees Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft software products Knowledge of basic math Must have a valid driver’s license Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle and background check Hours: Monday through Friday 7:30 AM until 4:30PM or Tuesday through Saturday 7:30AM until 4:30PM We Offer great benefits for our employees which include: *** SIGN ON BONUS FOR THIS POSITION *** Different medical plans to choose from.
