Do you like us? Like, like us like us? Then volunteer with us! Do you like us? Like, like us like us? Then volunteer with us!   Why We Need You We process 10,000 transactions a month and host 300 workshops every year with 1,000 participants. We are a small but mighty team of staff and we are looking for more RX family members. What to Expect In this 1 hour orientation, you’ll get the chance to learn about opportunities to become a member of the RX team. We always start with a tour of our space and an overview of who we are and what we do, then we’ll tell you about all the different volunteer roles and shifts. How You Can Help Our volunteers cover all sorts of projects like organizing the workshop and warehouse, cleaning tools, and unloading lumber. We’re also looking for TA’s for our workshop classes. If the physical stuff isn’t your thing we can use you on the administrative side of the house to help with events, IT support, marketing and assisting all the awesome customers who pick up supplies here. SAFETY DURING COVID Your safety is our highest priority at Rebuilding Exchange, so we have put safety protocols in place for all of our in-person events to keep everyone safe. Those protocols are: Reduced event sizes (no more than 10 people total).Everyone will be required to wear masks while attending in-person events (we do not have enough masks to provide to everyone, so you will be required to provide your own mask).You may be required to have their temperature taken (using a touchless thermometer) prior to the start of the event.Social distancing will be implemented when possible and appropriate.Everyone should follow recommended safety precautions, such as coughing into your elbow and refraining from touching their face.
