Job title: Project Coordinator Overview:We are a Property Restoration Contractor serving the Anchorage Municipality. The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Project Manager with the scheduling, administrative and accounting functions of selling and managing jobs. EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Coordinating office schedules, contacting customers and subcontractors for changes and delays • Coordinating with other Team Members to complete projects and job paperwork • Project efficiency tracking reporting • Collect deductible, progress and final payments as necessary • Coordinate with customer and Project Manager at end of job to obtain closing docs • Maintains field notes and daily updates and notes to DASH and TPA programs • Maintains at least a weekly status update in Job Track and conducts weekly reviews of these reports with PM • Responsible for sending out midpoint customer job surveys • Work with and communicate with insurance companies, agents and customers regarding their claims from beginning to end. • Answer phones, assist clients • Handle crisis management and customer complaints as situations occur • Assist in problem solving and inner company innovations • Work on call and overtime in emergency situations as needed • Apply general mathematical skills and data entry skills • Strong demonstration of verbal and written communication skills • Have a valid AK State drivers license with 3 or fewer infractions within last 5yrs • Develop and present creative solutions • Produce work in a timely, budgeted, scheduled and profitable manner for the Company • Apply safety procedures always KNOWLEDGE OF: • Directing calls, taking messages, chain of command • Proper filing techniques, office efficiencies and timely processing • Proper handling of customer complaints and issues • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Suite • Industry software: Xactimate,Contractor Connection, DASH and other similar programs • Laws,rules and regulations that govern areas of your job and the restoration industry including but not limited to your scope of work • Company ethics, image and goals and how those are reflected in your day to day duties • All Company policies and procedures, ability to understand and apply • OSHA safety regulations of the industry and provide an active roll in monitoring the safety of yourself and other team members • PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: Position is for work in a standard office environment,job site visits, expediting, use of personal or company vehicle Must be able to lift minimum 40lbs EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Minimum 2year college degree or job experience equivalent Efficient with MS Office products Insurance claims experience preferred At time of hire, applicant must be able to pass a background and drug screening.
