A well-established fabrication company is looking for a full-time, qualified facilities maintenance person for our Ventura, CA location. Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations • Basic knowledge of trades to understand problems and make minor repairs as needed. • General knowledge of power tool operation & safety. • Metal fabrication; Welding (wire feed, mig, tig), experience. • Well organized & detail oriented. • Self-starter, be able to work well with minimum supervision. Education and/or Experience • High School diploma or GED. • Maintenance experience. Job Tasks/Duties • Performs facility maintenance and repairs as required. • Maintains vehicle fleet records. Schedules maintenance and or repairs as needed. • Power tool maintenance & repair. • Works with vendors ordering tools and shop supplies. • Completes other appropriate assignments and duties as needed. Physical Requirement and Work Environment • Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position. • Frequent lifting up to 75lbs., bending, climbing, stooping and pulling. • Frequent repetitive motions. • Continuous standing and walking. Must have a valid California Driver’s License with a minimum of 3-years driving experience. Must be a California Good Driver. Mandatory pre-employment drug screening.
