Electro/Mech Assembler Needed In Camarillo 1st Shift: 8am-4:30pm Summary: Assembles electro/mechanical components, subassemblies, products or systems by preforming the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be preformed. Ability to read and follow quality system procedures Positions and align parts in specified relationship to each other holding device Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, solders, cements, press fits, or preforms similar operations to join or secure parts in place. Assemble finish product and install finished assemblies or subassemblies. Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, switches, screws, housings, end blocks and face plates to assemblies. Performs intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing stamping, etching, impregnating, and color coding parts and assemblies. Trends tools used for assembly and monitor calibration needs. Adjusts or trims materials from components to achieve specified mechanical dimensional characteristics. Performs online go not go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards. Evaluates customers returned material for repair or credit. Process paperwork for repair of customers material and repair.
