Mirabella Portland has a job opening for a Full Time Building Engineer
Hours: 6:30am-5pm
Days: Tuesday-Friday
Job duties could include:
Perform major and minor inspections and maintenance, repairs general electrical, general plumbing, lighting, hardware, locks and safety systems.
Perform inspection, maintenance and repairs of and to the campus lock, entry systems, doors and related hardware. Also maintains key inventory and control systems.
Provide emergency repairs to facilities and equipment as needed.
Repair and maintain all major Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) assets.
Repair and maintain all maintenance supplies, tools and equipment.
Job Requirements:
Formal training or certification in locksmithing, MEP, HVAC and/or general building repair.
Two (2) to five (5) years’ experience in engineering, maintenance, MEP, HVAC or a related field.
Skills in operation, repair and maintenance of shop equipment and tools. Knowledge of chemicals used in Maintenance departments.
Ability to read and understand labels. Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written communication.
Knowledge of telephone, TV and computer systems.
