Awesome Skateboard Manufacturing Company Seeks MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN to assist the Facilities Manager in the general maintenance of manufacturing machines, equipment, tools, and fixtures. * Perform maintenance of tools and equipment used in manufacturing; including but not limited to urethane processing machines, wood working tools, pad printing machines, and packaging equipment. * Diagnose equipment failures, identify root cause, and perform needed repairs with minimal supervision. * May assist with modifications to electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. * Follow a preventative maintenance schedule and notify supervisor of spare parts needed. * Other duties as required. * Hands on knowledge of & experience with commercial/industrial equipment maintenance. * Ability to operate hand and power tools. * Demonstrated critical thinking skills. * Strong working knowledge of electrical principles and use of a multimeter. * Experience with electric motors and associated protection devices. * Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics a plus. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to handle medium to heavy lifting and to stand for long periods of time. * Must be punctual.
