All Star Labor & Staffing has been hired to fill for the position of Wet Waste Laborer in North East Portland. This position will essentially be the clean up crew on all wet materiel left behind after pickers/sorters go through recycling piles. Essential Functions of the Wet Waste Laborer: • Able to use various cleaning tools (push squeegee, push broom, shovel's, etc.) • General housekeeping tasks. • Twist, turn, walk, kneel, side-step, reach, press overhead and in front of the body. • Tolerate odd smells. • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Wet Waste Laborer Qualifications: • Must be able to read and write and understand English (Spanish is a plus) • Highly motivated and energetic • Have the drive to learn and grow with the company • Able to comprehend and take directions *Public transportation for the Wet Waste Laborer position is not reliable right now due to COVID shutting down bus lines and limiting schedules.
