Position Summary
Works as part of the Maintenance team to complete maintenance requests, turnovers, annual inspections, and assist in other tasks that arise.
Key Duties
Respond to all tenant's maintenance requests in a timely and efficient way.
Perform unit inspections and preventative maintenance.
Repairs may include plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, ventilation, furnishing and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door, and window repairs.
Effectively and professionally communicate with co-workers and supervisors. Follow company policies and procedures.
Prerequisites
Prior Maintenance work experience.
Has thorough knowledge and understanding of general repairs and maintenance.
Personable, responsible, and capable of representing Star Metro to tenants, vendors, and others.
Other Info
Local travel is required (greater Portland area)
Must have a valid driver's license & reliable car.
Availability to work on call.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis, and use stairs without assistance, is required.
