Please check out our website for more information www.bakermfg.com/employment or call 608-882-5100 Hours: 1st Shift - Monday - Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm; Overtime required SUMMARY Performs repetitive bench assembly operations to produce products such as pumps and other manufactured items by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. • Places parts in specified relationship to each other. • Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together. • Tends machines, such as arbor presses, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line. • Operates electrical and hydraulic test equipment interpreting and recording results as to their correlation to product quality. • Works at different work stations as production needs require. • Reviews incoming returned materials for condition and suitability for repair or recondition. Performs repair work and reconditioning, preparing assemblies for return stock or return to customers. • Consults with Sales and Engineering personnel as to product revisions and customer requirements. • Maintains and records accurate count of workpieces produced and personal hourly attendance data. • Practices safe work habits, maintains workplace in good order, and wears issued personal protective equipment in the workplace. • Other duties may be assigned. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
