Hobbiest looking to play some Hillbilly Boogey & early Rhythm & blues

Hi to all, I am strictly a hobbyist musician (though former professional singer of jazz way way back) I play a little fiddle and electric guitar now, I would like to host maybe a session of amateur/student musicians who would like to try to play some early rhythm and blues, and hillbilly boogie--essentially the cutoff would be no music after 1959. Drummers, sax, guitar, guitar, bassists, vocalists, if you'd like to do this once or couple times a month I know Id enjoy it. I'm shortly acquiring an older but usable upright piano for this too. Use it to develop your skills if you like. My thought on how it would work is that we'd have to agree on a short playlist to mutually work on. Since people could rotate in an out of the meetup, it could morph into different sub-genres depending. This could keep us on track. Anyway, this is just for fun insofar as I'm concerned.
