CLEARWATER, FL — Clearwater police are investigating a crash on Drew Street that killed one person. The accident occurred at 12:41 p.m. Wednesday on Drew Street between Highland Avenue and Crest Avenue. One driver died at the scene and the other driver was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg as a trauma alert. He is in serious condition. The crash was head on and occurred after one vehicle crossed the center line.
