POSITION SUMMARY: Make sure the grounds are free of trash. Clean and sweep up trash and handle or assist with trash-outs of units. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Pick up trash on grounds · Clean out hallways · Snow Removal · Trash-outs of vacated units including but not limited to removal of debris, furniture, and appliances, painting and minor repair work. · Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS · High school diploma or general education degree (GED) · Less than 1 year of experience · Ability to read, write, speak and interpret basic instructions, simple correspondence and present information one-on-one or in small groups. · Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide by 10s & 100s · Ability to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions with common sense understanding. Ability to deal with problems that involve few variables in standardized situations. · Beginner computer skills. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: · Fair Housing PHYSICAL DEMANDS: · Regularly must stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl or bend. · Regularly must lift up to 25 pounds. · Occasionally must talk or hear. · Occasionally must lift 26-100 pounds. · Rarely must sit, climb or balance. · Rarely must lift more than 100 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Normally works in an environment with moderate noise. · Will be working outdoors year-round. · Regularly must work in outdoor weather conditions. · Occasionally must work in conditions that are wet or humid, extremely cold or extremely hot (non-weather), near moving mechanical parts, near fumes or airborne particles. · Rarely must work in high, precarious places, near toxic or caustic chemicals, with risk of electrical shock, with vibration. · There is no risk of radiation or working with explosives.
