IF YOU CAN DEMONSTRATE THAT YOU ARE QUALIFIED FOR THE POSITION the start out pay is $12.00 - $14.00 per hr + time and a half over 40hrs. You can expect to work 50 - 60 hrs per week Mon-Fri and earn between $650 and $1,000 per week (on the books). If we have bad weather you may be required to work Saturday as well. If you posses the qualities to be a crew leader here at PLC (if you are an honest, responsible, accountable, highly skilled person of integrity) you will be eligible for a salary position of $44,000 a year to start (on the books) with 4 weeks paid vacation. We do not offer medical or 401k at this time. We usually leave the shop around 7am and return around 6pm. Some days things won't go perfectly and you may work until 7 or 8pm. If you are the type of person who is going to complain in that situation then do not bother to apply. If you do not meet the following criteria please do not apply. You must live within 20 miles of Ocala. You must have your own transportation and a clean valid driver's license. You must have PROFESSIONAL experience in lawn care (mowing with zero turns, edging with stick edger, weed eating and shrub trimming) and/or landscaping. You must be physically able to work long hours in warm temperatures. You must keep a presentable appearance and a professional attitude. Experience in tree work, land clearing, fence installation and irrigation is of high value but not necessary. If you have construction/handy man skills please be sure to let us know, as we have opportunities relating to this field as well. We are also looking for a Landscape Foreman who is knowledgeable in all aspects of landscaping and hardscaping. Starting pay for this position is $900 weekly or $20 per hr (Which ever is greater) plus Bonuses for a qualified person.
