NORWALK, CT — Norwalk resident Amy Crane Sloditskie, a cancer survivor who beat daunting odds in her fight over the past few years, is now in need of a bone marrow donor, and she is reaching out to the community in the hopes of finding one, writes News 12 Connecticut.
Sloditskie, who was given a 5 percent chance to live, went into remission in 2018 after surgeries and chemotherapy treatments.
But those treatments resulted in her contracting myelodysplastic syndrome, for which she now needs a bone marrow transplant to survive. For more information, visit Sloditskie's Facebook page or BeTheMatch.org.
