NEW LONDON, CT — A car struck a utility pole on Jay and Truman streets Wednesday morning, according to police. Roads in the area were closed for repairs and to restore power. Police recommended drivers take alternate routes. Car vs utility pole accident on Jay St at Truman St. Roads closed in the area while repairs are made and power is restored.
