Full Time Building Maintenance Manager Wanted Immediately for a large commercial office building located in Fitchburg, MA. We are looking for someone who is: -RELIABLE -Innovative/forward/commonsensical thinking -Energetic/Motivated -Time Efficient -Organized MUST- *Have valid drivers license *Have own transportation *Be available occasionally on a weekend to show an office suite or clear snow off of steps, ramps & doorways Job Description: Performs maintenance & repairs related to buildings, grounds and equipment, in one or more areas such as electrical, plumbing, painting and light grounds-keeping. Key Duties and Responsibilities 1. Establishes, monitors, and carries out preventative maintenance procedures and schedules for buildings, equipment and grounds. Ensures building and equipment (wheel chair lift & elevator) meet all safety, security and fire regulations/policies and keeps up to date with inspections/certifications. Makes recommendations for major repairs and purchases to supervisor. 2. Performs minor carpentry, electrical, painting, mechanical and plumbing maintenance and repairs such as, installing switches, replacing plugs and other basic appliance repairs, applying paint and other finishes, repairing drywall, disassembling and reassembling equipment, occasionally replacing sinks and toilets. 3. Cleans/clears (sweep, shovel, snow blow, salt) external areas such as entranceways & sidewalks of debris, dirt, leaves snow etc. to ensure the safety of our tenants and their clients, and to keep property looking clean and professional 4. Performs other related duties as required. 5. Collecting & recording monthly rents (make sure everyone is up to date) 6.
