We are a martial arts group that has been in Colorado for the last 3 years and have moved into a physical location. The members of JKR&D want to invite you to meet and train with us and discover the benefits of training in Jeet Kune Do. Developed by Bruce Lee in his studies, JKD has grown and developed beyond what he envisioned and has become a thriving art with practitioners all over the world. Our instructor, Steve Rose, has trained with world famous martial artists including Guro Dan Inosanto, Erik Paulson, Ron Baliki, Harley Elmore, Mike Brewer and more. During his training, Rose has found and discovered the parts of the art that work and has used those experiences to create his own version of JKD. Our school is open to anyone! No experience necessary, we will help you find the JKD that works for you. We believe that no martial art is one size fits all and that different people have different styles. JKR&D can help you develop a style that is unique to you. We are a no contract school. You are welcome to come and enjoy the classes at a pace that works for you. Your time here should be fun and enjoyable and contracts can get in the way of that. JKR&D also recognizes that we are still in the middle of a pandemic. We take this seriously. For the foreseeable future, classes will be focused on Kali and methods of appropriately distanced learning that will minimize risk. Because of this, we require that all students wear masks while training. Additionally, temperatures will be taken upon entering and hand sanitizer will be provided.
