Delivery Box Truck Driver (Non CDL) * Do you enjoy a hands-on job?* Would you like to work outdoors?* Do you take pride in your work? * Do you have experience as a Box Truck Driver? We are looking for Delivery Drivers who will provide friendly, professional delivery service to our customers. We currently have openings for TWO Full Time - Tent and Event Delivery Drivers in Skokie. Driver Responsibilities• Load/unload tents, tables, chairs & other party rental items along with a crew of 2-5 people. The work is physically demanding.• Safely drive House of Rental's Box Truck to and from install sites. Provide friendly, professional delivery service to our customer's homes and businesses. Requirements• Mechanical Aptitude• HS Diploma or GED• Valid IL Driver's License and clean driving record• minimum TWO (2) years BOX TRUCK driving experience • Able to move/lift/carry 40 – 60 lbs. The work is physically demanding but rewarding.• You need to be familiar with these delivery areas: Skokie, Wilmette, Winnetka, Evanston, Morton Grove, Glenview, Northbrook, Chicago, Highland Park, Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights, Park Ridge Competencies/Characteristics• Knows that the answer is always “YES” to any reasonable request• Promotes customer satisfaction• Takes pride in a job well done• Has strong independent and teamwork skills• Must have weekend availability (Saturday and/or Sunday)• Must have reliable transportation to work We Offer:* BCBS Health Insurance * PTO * Paid Holidays * 401K ** Overtime opportunity in Summer * Consistent Work * Pay rate: $16 / hr. -----> Submit your resume with cover letter.
