Description

I am a 25-year-old amateur drummer looking to start a regular jam session. My long-term goal is to write my own work, but as of now I am trying to hone my improvisation and soloing skills in a group setting. I want to make a regular jam where as a group, we can rehearse and play through standards and work on building and mastering a jazz repertoire. This is mostly casual, but one thing must be serious, and that is a shared love of the jazz tradition and development. A little fusion/funk thrown in is always welcome. Let's also talk location, and I am open to any instrumentalists (but especially bass).
