Firefighters In Pacifica Rescue Man On The Side Of A Cliff

PACIFICA, CA — Firefighters rescued a man who was found 50 feet down the side of a cliff at Mori Point in Pacifica on Wednesday morning. According to a news release by the North County Fire Authority, the victim suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. Firefighters and paramedics lifted the man up by using a low angle rope rescue system to repel down the side of the cliff. The rescue took about an hour, according to authorities. No firefighters were injured. Crews from North County Fire are actively engaged in a cliff rescue at Mori Point in Pacifica.
